About G-Tech

Built on Water. Proven Over 16 Years.

G-Tech Engineering started with a simple belief — that every Zimbabwean home, farm, and business deserves reliable access to water. Sixteen years and 340+ boreholes later, that's still all we're here to do.

Our Story

From One Rig to Zimbabwe's Trusted Name in Water

G-Tech Engineering was founded in Harare by a small team of drillers who were tired of watching households and farms get burned by guesswork — boreholes sunk in the wrong spot, pumps sized incorrectly, and invoices that grew well past the original quote.

We started with one rig and a simple rule: survey before you drill, price honestly, and finish what you start. That rule never changed, even as the company grew to offer pump installation, water tanks, reticulation, borehole rehabilitation, and full construction and civil works.

Today, G-Tech operates out of New Adbennie, Harare, and has carried that same approach onto more than 340 sites across Zimbabwe — from city plots in Borrowdale to farms in Mazowe and lodges in Nyanga.

What Drives Us

Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

For over a decade, our team of skilled drillers and engineers has been dedicated to bringing reliable water to homes, farms, and businesses across Zimbabwe — with precision, honesty, and craftsmanship on every site.

Our Vision

To become Zimbabwe's most trusted name in water access — making a properly drilled borehole the standard, not the exception, for every household and farm.

Our Values

Honest, per-metre pricing. Precision on every drill. Respect for the land and the people who depend on it. We treat every site as if it were our own family's water supply.

How We Got Here

16 Years, One Site at a Time

G-Tech's growth has always followed the same pattern — do the job right, and the next site follows.

2010

G-Tech Engineering is founded

A small drilling crew sets up in Harare with one rotary rig, focused on residential boreholes across the city's northern suburbs.

2014

Pump installation added

Clients kept asking who could supply and install the pump too — so G-Tech brought pump supply and commissioning in-house.

2018

Expansion beyond Harare

G-Tech rigs start working farms in Mazowe and lodges in Nyanga, taking on harder geology and longer-distance projects.

2021

Water tanks, reticulation & solar pumps

Full water infrastructure — tank supply, piping, and off-grid solar pump systems — joins the service line, so clients no longer need separate contractors.

2026

340+ boreholes, full construction capability

G-Tech now offers borehole drilling, rehabilitation, pumps, tanks, reticulation, and construction & civil works — one company, one accountable team, across Zimbabwe.
